Marina Dieul was born in France. She showed great interest in painting and drawing from an early age, and her family encouraged her vocation. In early 2000, she moved to Canada, where she now lives with her family. Her work has received numerous awards and honors, including the Kingston Prize, the Portrait Society of Canada, the Artist Magazine, and International Artist Magazine, among others.
She won the William Bouguereau Best of Show Award, and first place in the drawing category at the Art Renewal Center Salon, the Best of Show in the "Inspiring Figures" exhibition (Butler Institute of American Art) and two Awards of Exceptional merit at the Portrait Society of America’s international competitions. She has been selected as a Living Master by the Art Renewal Center.
Marina Dieul is known for her animals and figures paintings in trompe-l'oeil style, full of humor and poetry. She works in her Montreal studio surrounded by the many cats she fosters for a no-kill shelter in Montreal.
Past and current memberships include the Portrait Society of Canada, the Portrait Society of America, Cecilia Beaux Forum ( PSoA), the International Guild of Realism and Mondial Art Academia.

Marina Dieul est née en France. Elle a montré un grand intérêt pour la peinture et le dessin depuis sa plus tendre enfance, et sa famille l'a encouragée dans sa vocation artistique. Au début des années 2000, elle s'est installée à Montréal où elle vit présentement. Son travail a été reconnu par de nombreux prix et honneurs internationaux parmi lesquels "The Artist Magazine", "The International Artist Magazine", le Kingston Prize, la Société du Portait du Canada.
Elle a reçu leprix William Bouguereau et le premier prix de dessin au concours de l'Art Renewal Center, le best of show dans l'exposition " Inspiring Figures " ( Buttler Institute of Américan Art ) et le prix du mérite de la compétition internationale de la " Portrait Society of América ". Elle a été sélectionnée comme " Living Master " par " The Art Renewal Center ".
Marina Dieul est reconnue pour ses peintures en trompe l'oeil d'animaux et de figures, oú se mêlent humour et poésie. Elle vit entourée de nombreux chats qu'elle héberge pour le compt d'une association qui vient en aide aux animaux abandonnés.
Elle a été et est membre de différentes organisations telle que la Portrait Society of Canada, la Portrait Society of America, le Cécilia Beaux Forum (PSOA ), la Guilde Internationnale du Réalisme, Mondial Art Académia ...
